Chuck Turner needs little introduction being one of the iconic voices of the 80's era. A career that began in his pre-teen years in the 1970s, Chuck Turner, (christened Noris Hill) also dabbled in his share of arrangement and production (though not always credited). Presenting here featuring him alongside the Top Rank Gang with 'Danger Sound' which according to Turner was his "counteraction" to Tenor Saw's 'Ring The Alarm' from 1985, on a reworking of the Stalag Riddim. Originally pressed in limited quantities, here it is again this time under Chuck Turner's own 'Crucial Force' imprint where he continues to promote and licence his catalogue and strings of releases.

We are delighted to be help Chuck Turner on this release with more to come. Chuck Turner had many setbacks along the way. One came early in 1989 when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident that left him in a coma for three days. He recovered and resumed his career. But later that same year, tragedy struck again. One night while leaving a club in Manhattan with friends, he was robbed and shot in the head. This time, the coma lasted for five weeks. Again he recovered. But the two brushes with death made him change his outlook on life "I have managed to put all thoughts of revenge behind me now, and I feel more at peace".
