Quench Aid's hit 'Wish I Had A Mom' is finally getting a reissue! Originally recorded in 1988 for the Super Blast label, this infectious digi riddim is the first-ever release of the original version. Although he later re-recorded the track on Sowell Radics' Odingo label and also on King Jammy's Far East riddim on the Kingston 11 label, this early take showcases the unique voice and catchy hooks that made Quench Aid a rising star in the late '80s. His status as a beloved figure in the reggae music scene was solidified by his continued popularity as an in-demand dubplate artist today.
